Time Life only ship to US & Canada, making it a pain in the ass to get them if you live elsewhere.

I'm still deciding. I really only give a shit about volumes 1-3, basically I only give a shit about the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I don't want the last four, but if I want ALL of the MMPR, I have to get those too. :(

They're still releasing the seasons individually. Only one on the calendar at the moment is Season 1 Volume 1 so you can still go for just MMPR

Yay! About time! In all honesty I want seasons 2 through Turbo. My soulstars are Rocky, Adam and Aisha! Once they left I lost interest even though Divatox (HIllary Shep) and Astronoma were Outstanding!

They were all actually released in Germany some time ago... I bought them from amazon.de a couple of years ago... I just had to hack my dvd player to tell it to play PAL (which was actually really easy, just pressing a few buttons on the remote)

I've been thinking about it and i may get the 7 season set. I mostly care about MMPR but I would at least watch Zeo & Turbo. I really loved In Space, my 2nd favorite series after MMPR so I'd definitely watch that. The only one I wouldn't want really is lost galaxy.

I'm really overly cautious about being optimistic about anything new these days since Samurai/Super Samurai has been such an epic let-down for the most-part. We shall see though.

Not to mention MegaForce is one hell of a bland title! :death:

Why can't they just bring back the Mighty Mophin Power Rangers and the costumes? It was the best... They could even use the film costumes and make the show a bit more realistic?

Thanks for the tip! I bought bootleg copies of MMPR to In Space years ago, which was bad VHS rips transferred to DVD. The quality on Netflix is great though, i've never seen Alien Rangers in this kind of quality before!

Every season is loosely based on the Japanese equivalent called "Super Sentai". Most of the footage the English series uses is dubbed footage from the Japanese series, so I imagine it's cheaper to constantly reboot the show rather than stick with what they already have.

Saban stuck with Might Morphin for two more seasons, instead of rebooting. The second season of MMPR only used the White Ranger and the Zords from the Super Sentai equivalent, and the third season only used Zord footage - but the mini series Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers used both battle and Zord footage. Then after that, Saban continued to reboot. Super Sentai is always a year ahead of Power Rangers.

You realize these DVDs won't just be the same prints they use on Netflix right?

Yes. That's why Netflix won't suffice. I want the DVDs.

I just searched through all of my saved pictures for the one of me and my brother dressed as the pink ranger and red ranger for halloween. We were serious geeks. I LOVED the power rangers SO very much. This is awesome for super geeks like me. ;)
