Nice man that's awesome, I'm planning on rewatching the whole series starting some time next month been a few years since I've done it. Glad you're enjoying it. It's probably mentioned as Jay said on the first season of 'Angel' but I don't think they discuss it on Buffy

BUFFY GEEK ALERT! Here's a breakdown of what happens to Cordy. Hope I haven't put any spoilers.

After Cordelia's family end up broke at the end of Buffy Season 3, she goes to LA to become an actress as she can no longer afford college. There she meets Angel at a party where he's protecting a girl. In LA she's still broke, lives in a horrible apartment and steals food from the party to eat. After Angel saves her from a vampire, and she helps patch him up after he's shot with bullets. She then sets up Angel Investigations and offers to work there until she's rich and famous. She insists on charging people for helping them (which Angel is initially against) and comes up with the tagline "We help the helpless".

In the third episode of Angel, Oz travels to LA to give Angel the Gem of Amara and reunites with Cordelia. It's implied that he lets the gang know she's working with Angel when he returns to Sunnydale. In the Buffy episode 'Pangs', Angel returns to Sunnydale to protect Buffy in secret. When he encounters Willow, she asks "Is it true Cordelia works for you?"

Cordelia isn't often mentioned on Buffy after this, except when Buffy says Glory reminds her of Cordelia. In Season 2 of Angel, Harmony travels to LA and meets up with Cordelia who initially doesn't know she's a vampire. Cordelia is then seen calling Willow, who tells her Harmony is a vampire.

If you like Cordelia then I would strongly recommend watching Angel. Her character arc on Angel is a true highlight of the show (except for Season 4 which I mostly try to forget).

Definitely agree on Cordelia being a highlight on Angel. Easily my favorite part of that show (great show nonetheless)

Been rewatching this series the last 5-6 weeks. God I forgot how much I loved this show. Really one of the best ever with amazing character development. So many emotional moments for me (I cry more than I'd like to admit haha) Im currently in the middle of season 6. Can't wait for the arc at the end of this season, so many feels.

I just finished Once More with Feeling and rediscovered this gem which I will be listening to repeatedly for a while. Love Amber Benson's voice, was easily my favorite of all the cast members.

Been thinking about rewatching it as well, but I think I`ll wait till the HD version is available!
Just can`t watch shows in 4:3 and "low" quality any more! :D #Geek :p

Season 6 is not my favorite (not a Buffy/Spike shipper AT. ALL.) but OMWF and the season finale is perfect!!!
Love Dark Willow!!

This scene is just...! :'(

Will there ever be a true HD version of Buffy though, I don't think it was ever filmed for it like Angel was after season 2 I think. It was always filmed in 4x3, I have doubts of whether it will ever have a real HD version released. The only episode not filmed in 4x3 was Once More With Feeling, which I did note to be higher quality than all other episodes on Netflix.

I don't really mind a Buffy & Spike pairing, though Buffy with Angel has always had my heart. Spike's progression over the series really made him a true standout for me though and Dark Willow  she's my favorite Big Bad (tied with Glory) I'm just not ready to lose Tara for that Arc to happen. Always hard to watch

Aspect ratio has nothing to do with being SD/HD. The image resolution is irrespective of its shape. Plenty of 90s shows are being remastered in 4:3 for Blu Ray release.

Other countries is airing the entire show in HD now and 16:9.
Some scenes have been either cropped or opened up to be wide screen.
Fans keep moaning about it (buhuuu, it`s not the same anymore as back in the 90s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :curse: :fuckoff: ),
but imo, it looks 10 times better!! I now finally have season 1 - 3 in 16:9 (season 4 - 7 was released in 16:9 back in the days on dvd) and it looks sooo good!!

I am on series 6 of Buffy now having watched it from the start on Netflixx. I have quite enjoyed it so far but I don't think I'll ever want to watch it again like Friends, Desperate Housewives or Gossip girl which I can watch again and again.

Apart from that singing episode... it was so corny but I love it :inlove:

OMFG! Yesterday Netflix uploaded Buffy in HD and it`s already changed my life!!
Feels so great to watch the show with clear picture and in 16:9! Definitely needs a marathon of the whole show! Haven`t done that in years and years!!

And no, I don`t care about "bad" cropping etc cause I really dont notice that kind of stuff.
All I want is the show to have a clear picture and to fit my 2016 tv. Not my 1997 tv, lol!
I haven`t watched the show in ages cause I just can`t deal with 4:3 pictures anymore. :D

I'm watching Buffy from start to finish with my boyfriend, he sees it for the first time and loves it. We're at season 5 now, it's so good.

I really love the show, but I don't like it that season 1 - 3 has really crap quality of the camera. There's such a huge difference between the quality of season 1 and season 5, I don't know if there are other shows with such a gap in it's quality over the course of 5 seasons.

I actually just noticed the other day that Netflix UK had removed Buffy. They still have Charmed though.

How could they!!

The soundtrack is GREAT! love it!! :D

Yeeeah, about that episode in HD on Netflix...that`s the only downside about this...they only have OMWF in edited form!! :O
This means that like 7-8 minutes of the episode we know is cut. It sucks! They have removed the whole opening scene before "Going Through The Motions" and the whole part of "I`ve Got A Theory" after Anya`s bunny verse. :/

Since all the shows I like are on a summer break and Scream just ended, I have decided to start the show from the beginning. Season 1 was really boring, besides a few episodes, I can see why some of my friends quit it after season 1, but I keep on telling them they should give a chance to the season 2, which is an improvement and it just gets better and better. It's very rare for a TV show to impress the audience with just one season, especially if it's just half of the season (12 episodes).

I also always tell friends who´s starting to watch it for the first time to NOT give up during season 1.
They just need to hang in there cause it will be so much better from mid season 2. It´s actually weird to think how much it changed (for the better)!
The Surprise/Innocence episodes took the show to a whole different level.
