Wrapping the CD

Postby Snapple Spice » 26 Mar 2008, 03:02

I really dont want the CD to get broken in the mail, Im going to wrap it up in some tissue paper, do you think that will be enough?

Any suggestions for this?

I was going to use bubble wrap but I didnt think it would fit nicely.

I didnt even think to put it in one of those thin cases, haha. Thanks.

Has anyone had a problem sending the CD? I have my stuff in a regular envelope, and it was in the mailbox this morning all ready to be sent, and then my dad took it out because he thought the CD case would mess up the mailing of the letter.

^Yeah, I've been thinking about mailing too...I really don't want to have to go all the way to the post office (though I will if I have to, lol). I can just put it in my mail box in a big envelope, right? But I don't know how many stamps to put on it...hmmm.

then you should go to the post office then to be sure so it doesn't get back to you.
I had to got to the Post Office since I new it would take more than a US stamp, anyway I didn't have US stamps at all!

^Yeah I suppose I should just do that. Although I may just put a few stamps on there...I don't think it will weigh a lot and it doesn't have to travel too far...
Meh, I don't know yet. We'll see!

I've put the cards and little things in normal envelope, the cd in a case, all of that in one big envelope and then went to the post office and put them into another envelope with bubbles.

The store in our student center (the post office is also in the student center) sells these manila envelopes that come with built-in bubble wrap. It's glued to the inside all the way around. That's what I used (I hope it works).

I put mine in a case and shipped it in a cardboard "photo" envelope. Should be good to go.

^^^yep yep.
That's what mine is like right now, the cd is in a case, and the only other things in it are paper, so it's all sitting nicely in the bubble wrap.
I still worry then It might get damaged........but I don't I should chuck it across the room just to make sure everything's safe.
