I'm really glad to finally see western european countries around the top. I think we can thank the new judging system for that.
Well, Turkey gave points to their neighbours only :despise:

True, but it isn't as bad as it has been for many years. Countries like Iceland, Norway and the UK didn't have a chance before this new system.

Maybe cause they sent crappy songs in the past? :death:

Iceland this year is nice however. The other two were awful.

Me too!

And Finland is doing so badly too. Surprisingly actually. Maybe the song was too old-fashioned.

If the reason why Norway and Iceland were never near the top was the fact they sent bad songs, then surely for the very same reason Sweden has so few points today.

Well, Norwegian song is so awful that this can't be true. Iceland had few good tracks on past years.

Horrible that Finland is in the last place. Horrible. The song wasn't THAT bad.

But shouldn't it be ABOUT THE FUCKING SONG?! Not about person's looks? This competition is so disaster this year. :dizzy:

Well I'm just glad that UK did well - best result for 7 years! I personally didn't think it was a great song, but, it was a really strong performance. Glad Iceland did well too.
