 well we all know Sean Banan wasn't going to win, but it was fun for me.
Can't wait for next year when there is no International Juries.. they fucked up YOHIO winning, he was the favorite.

His song wasn't any better. Perhaps a more original artist, but 'You' is the better song.

^ Over all this year has been quite terrible for us, "You" is growing on me though... BUT Carola should've won with Främling 2013 :$.

I really find the whole Eurovision thing pretty crap. Because..well..just look at what's been send in by countries over the years. I mean..really.
Howeverrrrr..I do LOVE our entry this year. Not likely it'll make the final show (though it should). Cuz its not about the songs anymore but about the "act".
But I don't care because Birds is a fantastic song, lyrically, musically & vocally. Imo.
Finally a song I feel I can be proud of. Nomatter where it ends. And that's what Eurovision should be about.

It's missing a big key change. :-(

I think it's part of the rules - the song has to be written and performed in English. They have to choose a common language, or scores could be affected because the audience can't understand what they are saying - they'd lose right away, sadly.

^ No, there is no such rule. You're allowed to sing in any language you want, even an imaginary one.

Probably because it's a bit too alternative for Eurovision.

Yeah, I really can't stand our song either. And he looks like a pig! So annoying! But I do think the song might do rather well.

I'm so terribly sorry for being vile. He looks like a pink 'sparbössa' and I want to smash it into pieces. Better? :)

I have finally caught on the Eurovision tracks. Is it me or this year has alot of non-English tracks?
Anyway, I thought this year's entries are pretty weak.

The tracks that stand out to me are (not in particular order):

(1) Denmark: Emmelie de Forest - "Only Teardrops"
Spoiler: show

(2) Ireland: Ryan Dolan - Only Love Survives"
Spoiler: show

(3) Belgium: Roberto Bellarosa - "Love Kills"
Spoiler: show

(4) Azerbaijan: Farid Mammadov - "Hold Me"
Spoiler: show

(5) Norway: Margaret Berger - "I Feed You My Love"
Spoiler: show

(6) Switzerland: Takasa - "You and Me"
Spoiler: show

(7) Sweden: Robin Stjernberg - "You"
Spoiler: show

(8) Austria: Natália Kelly - "Shine"
Spoiler: show
