Not bad for ITIL!

Such a shame about On Your Radar. Deserves 10x as many sales!

but we're used to that. Only Chasing Light sold more than 300k. But every album has a 300k-seller big hit single except OYR :(

:inlove: Sales figures unveiled :inlove:

Glad that it's finally official that 'Higher' surpassed 300k.
Surprised that 'Up' is 10k ahead of 'Ego'. At one point 'Ego' seemed to have become their best selling single... But I understand that since we lost track of 'Up's sales it must have secretly sold steadily some copies.

Nice figures, but don't ever watch Rihanna's ones before the Saturday's. It'd be devastating.

Lol! 340k for Rihanna - a slight flop. 340k for The Saturdays = MEGA$UCCE$$. :dee:

Debut album [Chasing Lights] + the single that launched it [Up] = best selling album & single.
Fourth album [On Your Radar] + the single that launched it [My Heart Takes Over] = worst selling album & single.

Oops...

Oh and 680k for their albums is indeed embarrassing. Still not sold as many albums with four releases as many previous girl groups managed to sell of just one album.

I suppose 3.2 million records isn't bad though.

It could be better, but hey, it could be a lot worse (Parade, Wonderland, Girls Can't Catch)
Always look on the postive side of things!

3.2 Million isn't too bad though it should be quite higher. Their album sales are so sad to see though :(

Jay wrote:Debut album [Chasing Lights] + the single that launched it [Up] = best selling album & single.

And they sold almost the same amount!

Lead single: 340k
First album: 350K

Lead single: 45k
This album: 45k

And Headlines sold 200k, while its lead single sold 215k.

Unfortunately, Wordshaker didn't manage to sell at least as "much" as 'Forever Is Over'.
Or maybe we should be glad that at least 'Forever Is Over' didn't sell as little as Wordshaker.

Ha, that's weird!

Poor 'Wordshaker' not matching the success level of its two singles. :( *Still remembers the excitement when it was midweek #5* lol.

Just thought I would point this VERY random and usless piece of info I realised today :)

In the Notorious video, they press the buttons to go to the relevant floors (5 and 15), which ironically is where Up (the biggest selling) and My Heart Takes Over (the worst selling) charted :)

Nice figures for Chasing Lights, I didn't know it was that much more than 350k.

LOL at Wordshaker worsening! We used to think it sold 85k, now it says 84k-something.
Someone must have returned their copy, lol.

If you combine Wordshaker & Headlines into one era (given that it shared alot of the same songs) you could say they produced an almost 300k seller from that combined era lol

I wish OYR had at least shifted 100k though!

Not bad for Chasing Lights, Headlines did ok as well. Sad to see the sales of Wordshaker and On Your Radar though, wished they would've sold over @ least 100k each

Such a shame about On Your Radar, and it's 'flop'. I've said this once, and I'll say it till I'm blue in the face, that the album does not deserve the lack of success that it received. The album isn't bad, it's strong and the songs are brilliant. I don't know why the public haven't connected with them.

Let's hope for '30 Days' and the subsequent release of it, and the new album/re-release will finally give the girls something to celebrate and crack open the champagne for yet again (Yes Rochelle, I am talking about you).

Oh God, their album total sales would be very good if it was just one album. I'm thinking about Girls Aloud, yeah.
