She performed for nearly 30 minutes a medley of her hits. My God I feel so embarrassed for those Russian artists who were singing with playback, she showed them what a true performer means! :death:

Her fans must have been over the moon when they went on stage!

Yeah they took a lot of selfies with her

Seriously... I don't think I've ever seen her lip sync before. That was fucking terrible.

Christina needs to get this album out already.... If she hasn't figured out that part of her problem is the long waits between albums, and the lack of promotion and proper single releases. Than shes truly hopeless.. Release a ballad girl.

The album is done already and it sounds urban and soulful and she worked with a lot of people and first single will probably feature Kanye but the importent thing is when ? :D

Kanye? Please no. I mean, they both have attitude problems, so it works, but please, he doesn't deserve any attention.

Has she ever explained why she's taking this route with her latest releases?

She used to release singles, do a proper promotion campaign and tour.

Maybe she's said that she doesn't have the time or something like that?

She likes to pull the Janet Jackson route when it comes to albums. Takes major time out to create the album and luckily she puts a lot of songs on them to make up for missed time.

Her last real tour was during Back To Basics and that was when she last had some hits. Once NMT came out, no was interested - hence why only 2 singles were released. 3 if you count I Hate Boys in OZ. After that, she flopped continuously. Only real hits she had after that were collabs.

Had she toured with Bionic, I bet she could have redeemed herself. It was a great record and had so much potential. And with Lotus, it was just a watered down version of Stripped. It had a handful of good songs, imo.

I feel she was right in that Bionic was ahead of its time. If released today, I think it'd have a better reception. It probably wouldn't chart any better, but nowadays, people would feel less like she was hopping on a bandwagon.

Such a pity. She has so much talent and potential but seems like she doesn't care...

How can you be ahead of its time and jumping in the bandwagon at the same time

It's one or the other.

TBH it was just a weak album with too much filler. I was a huge Christina fan Stripped is still one of my favourite albums ever, but that's the only long album that works. The others have some good stuff and a lot of filler making the whole thing sound rubbish. I end up deleting half the tracks and making my own albums with her...

Yeah her albums are full of filler. I typically end up with three or four tracks per album that I enjoy. The rest get deleted.

I truly enjoy Bionic and it has really awesome songs but I don't get the "ahead of its time" sound.

Probably the whole futureistic sound. She stated she wanted that type of album right after promo for B2B ended. That was her mistake - getting fans and public amped for another themed record (she milked the vintage image from 2004-2006/07). And Lady Gaga entered the picture with the exact sound Xtina was going for.

Yeah this. Also, wasn't it stated somewhere that the record company was reticent about the album's content being too uncommercial so they ordered some more 'current' songs that could be hits - thus making the album sound uneven? There are awesome 'futuristic' songs in there, particularly Elastic Love, Birds of Pray, etc. But as a whole, it is not a futuristic album at all...

And yes it is full of filler and her attitude fucking stank at the time.

I love Christina, but no way she would sell out a world tour. She hasn't had a hit song in ages, look at other big pop starts like Mariah and Janet who couldn't fill in venues...
