These 2 new songs seem to be missing the punch and power of the old Mutt Lange tracks. I'm so used to a bit of attitude and hard percussion in her songs that I don't know how I'm feeling about these new ones

She really makes good and catchy songs. Can't wait for the new album.

Something to keep in mind is that there are NO co-writers on this album. Shania literally did all the songwriting herself. I'm gonna wait to listen to the album as a whole before I decide how I feel about it. Life's About To Get Good is still catchy, though!

LOVE "Swinging", I think it sounds better than LATGG. Like someone else said, I am missing that power in the production(s).
Oh well, I am not complaining. I'm really looking forward to the album.

LATGG is ok but a little tame for Shania. Swinging with my eyes closed has more of a punch, I definitely prefer that one :music:

With every play LATGG grew on me more and more. The lyrics in the verses are really sad and you can hear the vulnerability in her voice... and then there's a defiant happy chorus. Love it! <3

Because I'm a geek, I worked this out: 'Now' is being released 14 years and 10 months after 'Up!', and I was aged 14 years and 9 months when 'Up!' came out. Therefore Up! will be a little older than I was when Up! was released, lol. :') It's crazy how long it's been; I'm so happy she's finally ready to give us new music.

I am actually your opposite. I prefer LATGG than "Swinging".
