Scissor Sisters

Postby inked_boy » 06 Apr 2012, 14:57

Okay, so yeah it sounds quite like every other Calvin Harris track. But I'm loving this, could be a radio hit. If only radio would play male POP that isn't Bieber.
And this is where I re-state my stance that "Fire with Fire" was one of the most underrated pop songs of 2010.

I agree with Fire with fire, but once again, Calvin Harris just sounds like... Calvin Harris. It's nice and all, but SS can do so much better.

When i met them in the summer I asked if they were working with anybody and they mentioned they'd like to work with him - cue very excited me! This is great, I hope this is a hit for them, their last album was very understated, I hope that they get back to the top again!

This. Really disappointed with the track, they don't need Calvin Harris, before I knew it, I said to a friend: this could be a Rihanna song. Then I found out it was Calvin Harris and well.. I hope the rest of the album is much better.

Love this track. In my honest opinion Calvin Harris's work (bar celebrity collabs) is far beyond anything Scissor Sisters have done.

I used to really like the scissor sisters, especially the first album. This sounds like a lot of other songs at the moment.

Can I just say that I'm obsessed with Let's Have A Kiki? The most fun song I've heard in AGES.

Ha! I went to Dalston Superstore (in East London, 5mins from my house) 2 months ago with my good friend (and old Dendener Mr.Moody) and we danced with Jake Shears on the dancefloor. He is sooooo yummy!!

Kiki is okay, but that's it. It's not fantastic. Ana is fierce, though.

Seeing them live in October for the third time.

It took a while to grow on me because their first album is just INCREDIBLE. Every time I listened to Ta Dah, I would want to stop it & go back to the first one, because EVERY SINGLE TRACK on that album is fucking amazing. But Ta Dah ended up growing on me very gracefully. It has some of their wickedest tracks on it...
