Thank goodness I downloaded the album, had a feeling it wouldn't last too long on Youtube (although it lasted longer than I thought!) Now, Geri - get it mastered and release it digitally please!!

BTW, I tweeted Geri the other day, saying thank you for the amazing work and would still buy the official release. She liked my tweet. I don't know if she would for every tweet to her, but actually she was not that offended by the fact that I have downloaded the leak :)

The fact that they're putting a lid on the leak (finally) gives me hope. Not much, mind you.

Not sure if I would personally buy this album, but except for 2 songs but I guess we shall see.

I've finally had time to listen to the album a bit and I love it! Love and Light, Without Love, and I'm Older Now are my favorites right now. I love ballad Geri, so this album and Passion are my style. I'm glad she didn't do something unoriginal and commercial like a dance/club album. Don't get me wrong - I love Geri's cheeky, up-tempo songs, but I'm glad that she has stuck to her guns. I'm also so proud of how much her voice has improved.

Back In Business sounded like such an amazing track! Hate the fact that it got replaced with poor song choices.

Is Half of Me considered part of the album? Sorry if I missed that! If it is, then I'm glad because I don't like isolated non-album songs in my music collection!

When I first downloaded it I thought the album was absolutely dire. But on repeated listens I've fallen in love with most of it. Love and Light is just gorgeous and uplifting. Without Love, Humanity, Man On The Mountain are strong as well. I think Get Involved and Sheriff are awful but they're both stuck in my head.

I can't see it doing well commercially but I hope the album, in some shape or form, sees a proper release and we get these songs in the quality they deserve to be heard in.

This album puts so much joy in my life. Some of the songs are little gems and others are a little bit cheesy but so delightful and uplifting.

Love and Light - 10/10 (this one is such a perfect single choice)
Humanity - 8/10
Man On The Mountain - 6,5/10 (it could be amazing, but the arrangements and mixing make it feel like a demo to me)
Beautiful Life - 9/10
Deep Down - 7/10
If You Love Someone - 7/10
Miracles - 9/10
Phenomenal Woman - 6,5/10
Without Love - 10/10
Sheriff - 7/10
I've Got a Name - 10/10
I´m Older Now - 8,5/10
Get Involved - 8/10 (so cheesy, yet it feels so Geri, therefore I love it)
Half Of Me - 6,5/10

Overall: 8,5/10

I think the leaker just included Half of Me in the bundle, apparently the volume is higher than the rest of the album.

Ok, that explains it! I don't mind it tacked on to the end of the album, although it makes the absence of Back in Business all the more glaring. :hmm:

I've said it before but I love "If You Love Someone"    . The vocals are a little cringe-worthy in a few parts (mostly the middle bridge) but I think that's what gives the song the ultimate vulnerability that makes it so special. The instrumentation is great and the lyrics are so sweet and personal. Gah I love the intro the most lol. The twangy-guitar and organ, UGH

If I had to remove any tracks from the album, it would be this one, alongside I've Got A Name.

I do like Phenomenal Woman but I kind of preferred the live version. Just think it had more of a wow to it.

It's a fantastic song though. I'm very glad to have a studio version.
